Circus skills can give kids self confidence, laughter and hopefully a new hobby away from the xbox.
Study's have shown that juggling activates grey matter in the brain and helps your right and left hemispheres communicate.
Here at Play People we know what a great thing these hobbies are first hand, and we hope to share them with as many people as possible.
That's why we have developed our fun schools program.
This involves a show (usually an assembly) that introduces the kids to the skills. Then throughout the day the kids will all get a turn class by class.
Step by step they will learn Juggling, Poi, Ribbons, Hula Hoops, Balancing and Plate Spinning.
We also like to throw in a bit of basic Clowning and Slapstick.
We can also bring our Tightropeif you would like.
The Circus Day is suitable for Year 1 and upwards.
