23/04/12 - The new website is launched! We have had to rush it to get it up so it's not quite finished so if there is any information you can't find on here please send us an email. Also there will be spelling mistakes. When I have a chance to proof read the whole thing this wil be rectified. Enjoy!

4/03/12 - It's been awhile since our last update but we now have lots of exciting things happening. We will post them over the next few weeks. 29/08/11 - It has been our busiest summer yet. Weekly workshops all around the Island. A massive collaborative project with ten performers living on the isle for 3 weeks from the Bristol based Present Tension Collective. A Theatre / circus tent at Mannifest. Making films, producing shows and now helping organise the first Manx Festival of Youth. Zombie walk, Mp3 Experiment, street theatre, parkour, skate jam and more.! Get down to Douglas on Saturday the 10th September from 11 - 6 and if you are free that night come watch us in the Urban Variety Show at the Gaiety Theatre.

10/07/11 - We have a new show we're putting on! On the 29th and 30th of July at Kensington Road Youth Centre. As a warm up to Mannifest and in conjunction with The Little Gusto Collective seven performers from Bristol will be living on the Island two weks prior to the festival devising work specifically for out Tent there: The Place of Our Earlier Days: Fringe Theatre Experiment. 06/07/11 - This Saturday we will be out in force at VFest at Vallajeelt school 3 - 6.

01/07/11 - The Play People are officially kicking the summer off this weekend at The Garden Party music festival with Fire shows, Glow People, New Stilt costumes made for the festival, parkour and walkabout. See you there!

15/12/10 - It's been awhile since we last posted here. Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be at Tynwald Mills this weekend (18th and 19th) from 2 - 4pm. We will have the Rainbow Bike, Giraffe Unicyclists, Balloon Modellers, Free Runners and a Clown. There will be walkabout, little shows and some fun pictures to be taken with the Bike.

20/09/10 - Mike is now studying at Circomedia in Bristol (Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre). Jo has gone to Cape Town to study Yoga and spend some time with Zip Zap Circus. Will is currently helping to open a free running park in Denmark and will be spending a lot of the next few months filming in Scotland.

We will be on the Isle again come Xmas time with our new street show featuring shellsuits, a parkour glow creature and fire.

We will also be running some exciting physical theatre workshops! : )

15/08/10 - Mannifest was a massive success and out of it has sprung lots of new ideas and possibilities, we had a workshop space, we roamed the festival, ran the Mannifest Olympics and performed a 14 person Fire Show. Its great to see the Island growing so much with a festival like that over here.

31/07/10 - Mannifest this weekend!!! Finally a really good family friendly, positive, creative festival on the Island. We will be holding a Circus Area, Doing Shows (fire and daytime), Walkabout & Workshops. We're also running the Bean Bag Cinema Yurt so make sure you help spread the word and make this festival a massive success so it can grow every year....

30/07/10 - Every Thursday in August come down to Castle Rushen from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. Come rain or shine we will be running circus workshops inside the Castle with some live music too!

30/07/10 - Every tuesday in August come down to Tynwald Mills from 2 - 4pm for free Balloon Modelling, a Circus Workshop and Tightrope walking. If there is enough people we will be doing a family friendly show too.

12/07/10 - This weekend Mike in conjunction with some other groups ran a 5 hour intensive physical theatre workshop. It was a massive success and lots of creative and interesting performances came out of it. More to come in the future.

09/07/10 - Great news! After doing our shows in town on Saturday to promote Mannifest we are on the front page of the courier. A paper that goes out to 40000 homes. Great advertising for us and a job well done for Mannifest promotion.

06/07/10 - The PlayPeople have been featured in the newspapers a lot lately, with an article on our Circus Space at Mannifest and some upcoming photos of our shows in town.

22/06/10 - A new Circus Space is starting on 29th July until the 19th f August Every thursday. In the grounds of Castle Rushen. We will have our usual workshop and tightrope and may be doing some shows.

19/06/10 - We were on the BBC News at 5:30pm. While doing our thing at the Bay Festival.

17/06/10 - On the Friday 25th June Circus Space will be at the Laxey Fair. We will also be doing a show.

17/06/10 - We will be at the Bay Festival this weekend. Running a Circus Workshop on the Saturday and Sunday and having various Walkabouts around the festival.

14/05/10 - New Video of us playing around in the Glow Suits!

14/05/10 - It's looking like we may play a big role in the opening ceremony for the commonwealth youth games. Which is exciting stuff. Hopefully we will be getting a lot of local Circus folk involved.

14/05/10 - The Circus Space is in this weeks Courier and will be on the BBC Site soon enough.

5/05/10 - Starting the 7th May we will have ongoing weekly adult circus sessions at Kensington Road Youth Club in Douglas. For ages 14 and above we will be taking over the gymnasium from 7pm onwards. We hope to develop the skill level of circus on the island and use the session as a talent pool for future shows too.

 The Website is here! Finally, it's taken years and a couple of failed attempts, but after spending a few months learning photoshop the logo came along, which sparked the design ibasis for the website. We hope you like it.

We are also looking for a space to rehearse, to train and come up with new acts, ideally this would be a studio with mirrors and space, I know there are a few on the island that go to waste in the days.
